The music scene rejoices as Jon Barr's soothing tones will return to SWFL stages. Fan favorite from popular local band Over Throwing Amy is ending his musical hiatus and going solo. Jon has confirmed his comeback but hasn't released his full schedule yet leaving fans holding their breath in anticipation.

Overthrowing Amy, affectionately known to fans as OTA is calling it quits. Citing artistic differences the group made up of Brian Richardson (Red), Drew Packla and Jon Barr (Jonny Turbo) have broken hearts across the South Florida music scene. Those close to the group stated the relationship became strained after a fight involving the bands taxes spiraled out of control. I know I speak for all local music aficionados when I say here's hoping for a comeback.
